The Forget-Me-Not Society is a charitable organisation formed to celebrate the life and talent of departed entertainment and sports celebrities as well as other famous people who have made significant contributions to their respective professions. All profits generated from these events will be donated to the 2025 MCF Festival fund.

The Society is headed by Lord Martyn Rose & David King MBE. Both Martyn & David have a wealth of experience in producing shows and events both the UK and overseas.


The Forget-Me-Not Society events are hosted by the East Kent Freemasons 2025 Festival with overall sponsorship from the Patriot Group. The East Kent Freemasons 2025 Festival has a target of £3.5 million to be donated to the Masonic Charitable Foundation.

Les Reed OBE Lunch

Sunday 8th September 2019, Marriott Hotel, Regents Park, London

This event is a lunch to remember Les Reed OBE who died on the 15th April 2019. Les was one of Britain’s renowned composers/songwriters who wrote many hits for the stars of the 60’s and 70’s including ‘The Last Waltz’ for Englebert Humperdink together with ‘Delilah’ and ‘The Green Green Grass of Home’ for Tom Jones.

Les’s daughter Donna kindly agreed to allow us to host this event.

On Sunday 1st December 2019 we hosted a tribute luncheon in memory of one of Britain's most renowned and talented impressionists / comedians, Freddie Starr who sadly passed to the 'great stage above' on the 9th May 2019 in Spain.

Freddie was the lead singer of the Merseybeat group, the Midniters, during the 1960s and rose to national prominence in the early 1970s after appearing on Opportunity Knocks.
